What Customers Say About LEGO Batman:

In all this game is a must buy. Plus it is for a awesome price because usually you would find this game for $50-$60. This game is so awesome. If you liked lego indy or lego starwars then you will love this game.

this game is done in legos.there have been to other bunches.they would be lego star wars and lego indiana jones.this one falls in the middle somewhere.its way better than lego indy but is still behind star wars.this game has one of the greatest replay values ive ever seen in a game.you can,of course, beat the game in the first place.thats 18 levels.then that opens up 18 more villian missions.you can always go back and collect all the red bricks and canisters.theres just so much stuff to do.when playing the game some of the cheat codes stick all the time like 10x and what not.there are also a plethora of villians and thugs.they call them goons.a lot of characters have cool abilities like back snapping, mind control and electric joy buzzers.batman and robin both have a number of outfits that each do something cool.i dont see how a person could ever get tired of this game.theres just so many possibilities.

With his faithful sidekick, Robin, he's a noble guardian, righting wrongs and doing good.In this game he does all that, in plastic form.Yes, welcome to Lego Batman, the aptly named companion to such games as Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Star Wars. You do, however, get the fun of playing both as heroes and as villains, each with their own overlapping story lines.

It's pretty much just the other Lego games with Batman's face drawn on. It's a lot of fun and includes the usual trademark humor we've come to expect of this franchise. The only real drawback to the game is that there isn't a lot that's new.

Ah, the Dark Knight. In fact, unlike the other Lego games, the vehicle levels are some of the most fun.The game has significantly more depth and unlockables than Lego Indiana Jones, though it's not quite as intense as Lego Star Wars (this is to be expected, given that the latter has many more levels and about twice as many characters).

This isn't a bad thing, but it's worth noting.Otherwise, a great game, lots of fun and worth every penny. That towering sentinel, watching over Gotham and protecting her citizenry from the most evil and vile of villains.

In this game you play Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, the Joker and a great many other heroes and villains through thirty-plus levels of fun and excitement. It's all here: the cool gadgets, the colorful characters, the really annoying, repetitive music (you'd better really like Danny Elfman, is all I'm saying), and the nifty vehicles.

A game that keeps your interest and keeps you focused on getting to the next level, but at the same time not wanting the game to end.

So I was worried about that. There's no real story here (just really villains being villains, with Batman stepping in and saving the day), but the story that there is fits and makes sense. The graphics for this game are what I've come to expect from a Lego theme game; Lego-ized versions of well loved characters interacting with a nicely done background environment filled with destructable Lego pieces. Should be a simple fix, but after five games, it's still a problem. After Lego Indiana Jones, I was a little hesitant to play this one. Another issue I have (but could be a personal thing) is that some of the puzzles are a little confusing (the biggest example of this was in Poison Ivy's level, where there's a room filled with toxic waste, and you need to cross the room; this had my wife and I stumped until we looked online to figure it out, and felt like idiots afterwards). The Riddler, Penguin, and Joker are the main villains, with each working with four other villains (famous, and some less-so). The final issue is that sometimes it seems like the enemies just keep coming and coming and coming (also evident in the same area as the toxic waste mentioned above).Overall, this game is a definite improvement over Lego Indy, and, to me, this is the best Lego theme game that has been made.

There is no easily identifiable story as there is for Star Wars or Indiana Jones. Another issue I have involves multiplayer as well, but it's been a recurring problem since the first Lego SW; one person can inadvertantly kill their partner if one of them is standing still by going to far to the edge of the screen. A game like this would be ideal for play over X-Box Live, and not including it is kind of surprising (especially since it was in Lego SW:TCS, but less so since it wasn't in Lego Indy). However, both of my fears were alleviated when I started playing. The controls are much better in this than they were in Lego Indy. The first is lack of online multiplayer.

I don't know what happened to the controls in that game, but they made the game unenjoyable to me. The sound is also well done, from the Batman theme at the opening and also throughout the levels. There are a few issues I have with the game. And the story is told in a very interesting way; you play through the levels first as Batman and Robin, and then you can go through (almost) the same levels from the villain side (I say almost, because it seems like there are no vehicle missions on the villain side). Plus, what kind of story was Lego Batman going to have. I haven't had anywhere near the frustration here as in that one (not to say that I haven't had any; there have been a few times when the controls frustrated me, such as trying to land on small platforms).
